Mandira Design Studio is a multidisciplinary Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape and Graphic Design firm founded in 2018 by Abraham Panakal & Zenia Vandrewala as the Principal Architects of MDS.

The firm works at multiple scales and with various organizations from private clients to corporates & government Organisations. This allows a range of projects that reflect a plurality of typologies such as Hotels, Resorts, Public facilities, Urban streetscape, Villa projects, Commercial offices and more.

The design approach at MDS is to evolve an architecture that is rooted to the place, to create an appropriate response to a particular context that utilizes natural materials, lighting & landscape to reinvent living spaces.

The firm strives to create design that inspires, approaching each project, regardless of size & scale, with an understanding that architecture has a unique power to influence lifestyle and society. Their forte is attention to details and customisation. Honesty to design, client satisfaction, and sustainability are the driving forces, along with the ability to constantly explore & evolve.

They are dedicated to unique design approaches adapted to each project and achieve a balance between functionality & aesthetics, context, climate, material, cost & time-frame.

The Principals are registered architects with the Council of Architecture and associates of the Indian Institute of Architects. Both Abraham and Zenia frequent as Design faculty and Critics at Schools of Architecture.

Jr Architect
Inviting applications from B.arch graduates with 1 year experience or freshers who are passionate about working on Architectural or interior design projects with an eye for detail , analytical mindset and open to rigorous practice.

Architectural internship
Inviting internship applications from students of reputed institutions for a minimum period of six months.
