Every year Fort Kochi plays host to a large number of tourists from across the world and with the advent of the Muziris Biennale, Fort Kochi has gained prominence as a preffered destination. However the Public Facilities and Infrastructure remains under developed to cater to the vast numbers. The Fort Kochi Clean streets Initiative aims at providing a series of solutions that will provide facilities and amenities to the Public such as public toilets, water treatment, drinking water faciliites waste disposal and compost generation.
